Customer Affects

Retention

Because it is actually less expensive to gain more business from an existing customer than it is to get new business from a new customer, retention programs should be included in every marketing plan. Our retention programs help you grow your relationships with your customers in order to create opportunities for repeat business. Although a retention program should consist of multiple initiatives that work together to help you meet specific business objectives, here are a few examples of retention initiatives:

  • A Beauty Salon could develop an introductory gift set for new clients that includes a frequent visitor card, a coupon for 25% off any salon product, a comb, and information/tips on the best way to care for your hair.

  • A store could create seasonal specials or special of the month promotions.

  • A service business such as a Swimming Pool Contractor, Dentist, or Doctor could recognize milestones in the relationship and improve the communication between the customer and the business by (1) sending welcome letters to new customers; (2) sending thank you notes for referrals: (3) conducting customer surveys to obtain information about what the office is doing well and not so well to improve the customer experience; and (4) calling and/or sending reminder notices to clients.
Are you getting enough repeat business? Let us help you grow your relationships with your existing customers.
